Safety Control and Business of Liquefied Petroleum Gas Act.

The purpose of this Act is to ensure public safety by prescribing matters concerning the export and import, filling, storage, sale, and use of liquefied petroleum gas and the safety control of gas appliances, and to ensure the proper supply and use of liquefied petroleum gas by rationally regulating liquefied petroleum gas business. For the purpose of the present Act the term "liquefied petroleum gas" means liquefied gas (including vaporized gas), primarily composed of propane or butane.
