Special Act on Assistance to Fisherman and Development of Fisheries following the conclusion of Fisheries Agreement.

The purpose of this Act is to seek to devise effective supportive measures for fishermen for whom restrictions on fishing operations, are imposed due to agreements thereby contributing to boosting the development of sustainable and competitive fishery as a new global fishery order is created, as well as facilitating the stability of the lives of fishermen and improving their welfare. Article 7 deals with the establishment of the Committee for Deliberation on Assistance to Fishermen and outlines its function. Article 12 lays down provisions relating to the payment of subsidy on behalf of the Minister for Food, Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries. The text consists of 32 articles.
