Abstract
This Law is targeted toward safe food, proper nutrition, and healthy children and to establish a goal to protect children's health against pernicious ingredients, food poisoning and obesity by improving the environment of circulation and consumption conditions of children's preferred food and food services. In particular, the aim of the present Act is to contribute to the promotion of children's health by regulating necessary matters for providing safe and well-balanced nutritional foods to help children develop good eating habits. The text consists of 29 articles divided into 8 chapters as follows: General provisions (I); Designation and management of green food zone (II); Management of children’s preferred food (III); Provision on information on proper dietary life (IV); Center for child-care food service management (V); Establishing safety management system for dietary life (VI); Corrective orders (VII); Fines for negligence (VIII).
