Agreement between Iraq and Kuwait concerning the supply of Kuwait with fresh water Parties

With this Agreement Iraq agrees to the withdrawal by the Government of the State of Kuwait from the waters of natural rivers in Iraq, at the sites selected by it in accordance with the technical surveys and investigations to be conducted later and agrees to enter, upon request, into negotiations with the Government of the State of Kuwait with a view to supplying Kuwait with a larger quantity of waters should it be needed by the latter Government in future.
