Resolution No. 4 of 2012 amending some provisions of Resolution No. 210 of 2001 regarding the Executive Regulations of the Law establishing the Public Environment Authority.

This Resolution, consisting of 2 articles and Annexes, amends articles 76 and 79 of the previous Regulations as follows: (i) Article 76, concerning air pollutant levels, stipulates that these must not exceed the standards defined in the attached table. It further states that the Authority will divide Kuwait's various areas and define different actions, duties, measures, and execution times that relevant entities must undertake for pollutant management in these areas; (ii) Article 79 categorizes emission sources into primary and non-primary, with Table 1-20 indicating maximum permissible emission limits. Table 2-20 specifically lists categories requiring an emission permit or registration.
