Agreement on the application of technical, medical, pharmaceutical, sanitary, veterinary and phytosanitary norms, rules and requirements in relation to goods imported into the member states of the Commonwealth of Independent States.

Application of technical, medical, pharmaceutical, sanitary, veterinary and phytosanitary standards, rules and requirements concerning the goods imported on customs areas of the Parties includes set of the regulations and rules directed to identification, the prevention and non-admission of violations in case of commodity importation. The import of goods that do not meet the requirements in force in the territories of the Parties shall not be permitted. The Parties instruct the authorized bodies to ensure coordinated actions to prevent the import of goods that do not meet the requirements in force. Authorized bodies exchange lists of accredited bodies that certify goods, lists of accredited and certified institutions and organizations that conduct medical and biological and other studies of products (goods) for human health safety indicators, samples of certificates, national conformity marks, as well as lists of products subject to mandatory certification and lists of goods subject to state sanitary, phytosanitary and veterinary control. The Parties shall be guided by the provisions of the International Convention on Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora of 3 March 1973 (CITES) and the resolutions of CITES conferences, if the objects of trade fall within its scope.
