Agreement between the Government of Kazakhstan and the Government of Jordan to cooperate on veterinary matters.

The Parties have agreed to cooperate on preventing the trans-boundary spread of infectious diseases during transport of animals, animal products, genetic material, drugs and animal feedstuffs. To this end, each Party agrees: (a) to promptly inform the other of infectious animal diseases discovered on their territory as well as of the outbreak of previously unregistered diseases; and (b) to exchange as necessary reports on animal diseases registered on the territory of the Parties. The cooperation shall consist of: (a) exchange of information and experience in veterinary science; (b) scientific and technical cooperation between veterinary scientific research institutions; (c) exchange of technical publications on veterinary science; and (d) exchange of veterinary and sanitary norms and standards.
