Abstract
The Parties have agreed to cooperate on preventing the transboundary spread of infectious diseases during the transport of animals, animal products, genetic material, drugs or animal feedstuffs. The Parties have agreed to: (a) promptly notify the other of infectious animal diseases originating on their territory and of any outbreak of a previously unregistered disease; (b) exchange monthly reports on animal diseases registered on their respective territories; and (c) share practical experience on preventing infectious, parasitic and other animal diseases. Cooperation shall entail: (a) exchange of information, technical publications and experience regarding veterinary medicine; (b) scientific and technical cooperation between veterinary scientific research institutions; and (c) exchange of veterinary and sanitary norms and standards.

Entry into force notes
This Agreement enters into force from the date of notice that all internal procedures required for its effectiveness have been fulfilled.
Notes
This Agreement shall remain valid until six months of receipt of written notice of termination by either Party.
