Abstract
This Agreement determines cooperation between the Parties in the sphere of civil protection, prevention of emergencies and mitigation of the consequences thereof, training of civil protection staff and mutual assistance in case of the outbreak of emergency situations, disasters, natural calamities that can cause outbreak of emergency situations. The Parties shall cooperate in the following forms: (a) exchange of information related to forecast, prevention and assessment of emergency situations; (b) exchange of monitoring information related to the state of environment; (c) environmental impact assessment; and (d) joint conferences, seminars, training of staff.

Entry into force notes
This Agreement shall be effective from the date of receipt of the last written notice on accomplishment by the Parties of the internal procedures required for its entry into force.
Notes
The Agreement was ratified by Kazakhstan on 28 September 2016 by Law No. 13-VI ZRK. This Agreement shall be open-ended unless either Party terminates the Agreement by written notice to the other in which case the Agreement shall be terminated within six months since receipt of the notice.
