Abstract
The Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Government of the Turkish Republic, seeking to facilitate trade in animals, products of animal origin, veterinary medicines and feed, in order to eliminate restrictions on mutual trade and maintain the necessary level of protection of human life and health, while at the same time preventing the spread of infectious diseases of animals and animal products harmful to public health, as well as the development of cooperation in the field of veterinary medicine and the safety of products of animal origin, have agreed as follows: (a) import and transit of animals, products of animal origin, veterinary medicines and feed can only be carried out if the requirements established in accordance with the provisions on veterinary safety and safety of products of animal origin are met, feed from the importing state, which is guaranteed by a veterinary certificate and permit issued by the competent authority of the exporting state; (b) the Parties must agree on import/export requirements for animals, their health and products of animal origin; and (c) the Parties agree on samples of veterinary certificates in accordance with the national legislation of the Parties and exchange them for implementation of mutual deliveries of goods; veterinary certificates must be printed in Kazakh, Turkish, Russian and English languages. In order to develop cooperation in the field of veterinary medicine, the competent authorities of the Parties may: (a) exchange legislation and expert publications related to veterinary and food safety; (b) share monitoring plans to ensure food safety in the current year; (c) establish cooperation between expert and scientific institutions in the field of protection of animal health and veterinary medicine, as well as between laboratories of their countries; (d) exchange, if necessary, diagnostic tools and methods and strains of pathogens of animal diseases for experimental and diagnostic purposes; (e) encourage cooperation between veterinary services, including the exchange of veterinary experts in order to familiarize themselves with the organization and activities of the veterinary services of both countries; (f) exchange information about exporting enterprises and the epizootic well-being of the territory; and (g) exchange information, experience and publications in the field of veterinary medicine.

Entry into force notes
This Agreement enters into force from the date receipt of the latest written notification of execution of domestic procedures required for its entry into force.
Notes
This Agreement is concluded for a period of five years and will be extended automatically for subsequent five-year periods if neither Party notifies the other Party in writing at least six months before expiration of the current period of its intention to terminate it.
