Abstract
The Parties have agreed to cooperate in the following fields: (a) fundamental and applied research; (b) putting to and out of operation nuclear reactors; (c) manufacturing and supply of nuclear materials and nuclear fuel; and (d) nuclear and radiation safety and environmental protection against radiation. Cooperation shall be carried out in the following forms: (a) exchange and training of scientific and technical personnel; (b) exchange of scientific and technical information and data; (c) organization of symposia, seminars and workshops. (d) transfer of nuclear materials, equipment and technologies; and (e) joint research.

Entry into force notes
This Agreement shall be effective from the date of receiving of the last written confirmation of the Parties on carrying out all the necessary internal procedures for its coming into force.
Notes
Unofficial translation. This Agreement entered into force in the Republic of Kazakhstan on 23 August 2010. This Agreement shall be valid for ten years and shall be automatically renewed for one more five-year period unless, either Party terminates the Agreement by written notice to the other in which case the Agreement shall be terminated within six months since receipt of the notice.
