Abstract
The Parties have agreed to cooperate in the following fields: (a) exploration and mining of uranium; (b) projecting, construction and operation of light-water reactors; (c) treatment and disposal of radioactive waste; (d) protection against radiation and radiation monitoring of environment. Cooperation shall be carried out in the following forms: (a) exchange of experts; (b) exchange of non-classified information; and (c) supply of nuclear materials, equipment and technologies to the authorized recipients of the Parties.

Entry into force notes
This Agreement shall be effective thirty days after the date of receiving of the last written confirmation of the Parties on carrying out all the necessary internal procedures for its coming into force.
Notes
This Agreement entered into force in the Republic of Kazakhstan on 15 February 2010. This Agreement shall be valid for ten years and shall be automatically renewed for one or more five-year periods unless, six months before the expiry of the current term, either Party terminates the Agreement by written notice to the other.
