Abstract
The subject of this Agreement is mutual cooperation in order to ensure control, prevention and elimination, and also promotion of observation and monitoring system of diseases of terrestrial and aquatic animals and simplify trade in commodities referred to in terrestrial and aquatic animal health codes of World Organization for Animal Health (OIE). Veterinary Control and Supervision Committee of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Iranian Veterinary Organization of the Ministry of Jihad of Agriculture of the Islamic Republic of Iran are the competent authorities ensuring the implementation of this Agreement. Contracting Parties pledge to promote the development of bilateral cooperation between their research and scientific centers in the field of control, prevention and elimination of diseases specified in the codes, and should not submit to third parties information about the results without the consent other Contracting Party. In addition, the Contracting Parties pledge to provide each other upon request with mutual assistance in specified areas in accordance with further mutual intentions and agreements. Import, export and transit of commodities covered by this Agreement shall be performed in accordance with the sanitary and veterinary guidelines and recommendations mentioned in the codes. Import of commodities covered by this Agreement to the territory one of the Contracting Parties requires prior permission from authority of the importing Contracting Party. Data in the permits shall contain veterinary and sanitary requirements for import at the official in the language of the importing country and English. The competent authority of the exporting Contracting Party shall comply with veterinary and sanitary requirements of an importing Contracting Party by issuing veterinary health certificate in the official language of the importing country and, if required, and in English. Contracting Parties certify the compliance of the certificate with the requirements provided for in codes. The original of the issued veterinary certificate must accompany the lot in order to be submitted to veterinary inspectors at border veterinary points. Contracting Parties have the right to: (a) establish special requirements for import of commodities provided for in this Agreement; (b) prohibit import of commodities provided for in this Agreement in the event of non-compliance with these special requirements; (c) determine authorized border points for import of commodities, provided for in this Agreement and notify the other Contracting Party; (d) check and control the accompanying documents, conduct sensory research, sampling and inspection of imported commodities in order to obtain evidence of the absence of pathogens mentioned in codes, and pathogens that pose a threat to human and animal health; and (e) in case of establishing contamination (pollution) of imported commodities with pathogens that pose a threat to human life and health, and animal health, return or destroy the commodities and inform the other Contracting Party in written form, specifying reasons and submitting confirming documents.

Entry into force notes
This Agreement enters into force on the date of signature.
Notes
This Agreement is concluded for an unlimited period of time. A Contracting Party may terminate this Agreement, by sending a written note through the diplomatic channels of the other Contracting Party. Termination takes effect thirty (30) days from the date of notifications from the other Contracting Party.
