Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan on Joint, and Complex Use Water and Energy Resources of the Naryn Syr Darya Cascade Reservoirs in 1998.

This Agreement between Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan concerns flows from or in various transboundary rivers, reservoirs and canals. This is done to provide efficient water releases during the growing season (irrigation), prevent flodding of areas in midand downstream Syr Darya and for the rational use of existing water and energy resources.
