Government Resolution No. 313 validating the updated national contribution of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the global response to climate change.

The updated National Contribution of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the global response to climate change consists of: information designed to promote clarity, transparency and understanding of nationally determined contributions: (a) quantifiable general information about the goal; (b) base year; (c) quantitative information about baseline indicators; (d) conditions for updating basic and other information; (e) time frame: implementation period; type of target indicator; (f) scale and scope: general description of the target indicator; coverage of emissions and sectors; (g) planning process: internal institutional arrangements; best practices and experiences in preparing Nationally determined contributions (NDCs); taking into account the global stocktaking of implementation in the preparation of the national level of contribution; and (h) climate change adaptation component: national circumstances, institutional arrangements and legal frameworks; impacts, risks and vulnerabilities; national climate change adaptation priorities, strategies, policies, plans, goals and actions; implementation of adaptation actions and plans; actions and economic diversification plans, including those that result in change mitigation climate.
