Abstract
The National Infrastructure Plan focuses on enhancing the country’s infrastructure to support economic growth and improve the quality of life for its citizens. The plan outlines strategic priorities aimed at ensuring reliable systems for public services, fostering economic development, and addressing national needs through critical infrastructure projects. "Economic Viability" - the project should contribute to increasing the competitiveness of the national economy, stimulate the creation of high-quality jobs, have a multiplier effect on other sectors of the economy, and apply new technological advances in the field of resource efficiency. Environmental responsibility - the project is in line with climate change and the principle of disaster prevention, aimed at restoring the environment and protecting biodiversity.
It emphasizes the importance of maximizing domestic capabilities in scientific and technical development, thereby reducing reliance on global markets. The implementation of the plan involves categorizing projects into two priority lists, with a focus on critical infrastructure that meets basic societal needs, such as energy, water supply, and digitalization.
The plan anticipates the creation of approximately 150,000 jobs, including over 26,000 permanent positions, which will contribute to increased tax revenues and reduced unemployment. Additionally, it includes specific indicators for domestic value addition, aiming to stimulate the processing industry and promote local production capabilities.
