Governmental Decree No. 576 validating the Regulation for the acknowledgement of technologies as “green” technologies.

This Regulation establishes the procedure for the acknowledgement of technologies as “green” technologies. When determining the compliance or non-compliance of technologies with the criteria of "green” technologies must be considered the following criteria: (a) destination; (b) resource saving; (c) energy efficiency; (d) prevention and minimization of waste; (e) safety of the technology for humans; and (f) safety of the technology for biological diversity. At the same time, the criteria include one or more representative indicators characterizing the type of technology according to three or more criteria classifying technology as "green". The criteria for "green" technologies are the same for technologies of any kind of economic activity. The main target of these criteria is a significant reducing of the negative impact on the environment and achieving sustainable development.
