Governmental Decree No. 732 validating the National project for the development of the agro-industrial complex of the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2021 – 2025.

National project for the development of the agro-industrial complex of the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2021 – 2025 is a nationwide multi-sectoral policy document aiming at the creation of competitive agro-industrial complex by increasing labour productivity by two and a half times, increasing the amount of export twice and ensuring manufacturing of domestic production of socially significant foodstuffs.
Expected economic effect: (a) increase in labour productivity; (b) increase in income of rural residents; (c) involvement in ecosystems of farmers and rural residents; (d) increase of rural employment; and (e) increase of supply to the domestic market of socially significant foodstuffs.
The developer of the National project is the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan. State bodies and organizations responsible for the implementation of the National project are Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Ministry of Industry and Infrastructure Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Ministry of Trade and Integration of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Ministry of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Ministry of Ecology, Geology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Ministry of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan, local governments (akimats) of regions, cities of Nur-Sultan, Almaty and Shymkent, the Agency for Regulation and Development of the Financial Market of the Republic of Kazakhstan (by agreement), the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Atameken" (as agreed), the joint-stock company "National Managing Holding Baiterek" (as agreed), the non-profit joint-stock company "National Agrarian Scientific -educational center" (by agreement).
