Abstract
This Joint Order establishes the modalities for the registration of enterprises and fishing vessels that manufacture fish products for export to the European Union and the issuance of veterinary certificates for such products. Any enterprise certified to export fish products to the European Union shall be assigned a registration number, which it shall communicate to the European Commission, and must observe veterinary and sanitary requirements validated by the Ministry of Agriculture. Enterprises must submit the following documentation: (a) application; (b) expert opinion of the provincial (regional) veterinary laboratory under the Ministry of Agriculture on the applicant’s observance of veterinary and sanitary requirements; and (c) conclusion of the national veterinary laboratory on of the applicant’s internal control system. Veterinary certificates shall be issued by the Ministry or by the authorized state institution.
