Law No. 56-VI amending Ecological Code (Law No. 212-Z).

Item 8 of the Article 225 shall be amended to add the following wording: “Discharge of sewage (effluent water) without preliminary treatment into waterbodies, on land surface and in wastewater storage facilities, except for discharges of mine and career waters of mining and metallurgical enterprises in storage ponds and (or) ponds-evaporators, as well as water used for water cooling, in storage tanks, located in a closed (circulating) water supply system shall be prohibited”.
