Ministerial Decree No. 19-02/183 validating the Regulation on mandatory registration of water use by local executive bodies of provinces, cities of national importance and the capital.

This Ministerial Decree establishes the procedure for mandatory registration of water use by local executive bodies of provinces, cities of national importance and the capital. Non-centralized potable water supply does not require obtaining a permit for special water use in case of water abstraction from waterbodies to the amount of up to fifty cubic meters per day. Natural persons performing non-centralized potable water supply for personal needs, carry out registration on a voluntary basis in the manner prescribed by this Regulation. Mandatory registration of water use shall be performed by local government in the place of location of water body. Natural and legal persons must submit to the local government the following documentation: (a) application in accordance with the Annex 1; (b) copy of certificate of state registration for legal persons; (c) copy of certificate for waterworks; (d) copy of license for sanitary, hygienic and antiepidemic activities for laboratory testing (in case of availability of laboratory); and (e) copy of certificate of compliance of waterbody with potable water quality requirements.
