Ministerial Decree No. 731 validating Technical Regulation on safety of coals and production processes related to mining, processing, storage and transport thereof.

This Ministerial Decree shall be applicable to: (a) black coal, lignite or brown coal, cleaned coal and coal bricks; and (b) processes of mining, extraction, processing, storage, and trade of coals. Main risk factors shall be: (a) noise pollution; (b) radioactive pollution of coals and mines; (c) fire and explosion risks; (d) air and water pollution. Coals and derivates thereof shall comply with technical standards set by this Technical Regulation. Coal product quality certificate shall contain the following information: (a) product name; (b) country and place of origin; (c) legal address of the producer (supplier); (d) production code, lot number, gross weight and production date; (e) term of storage; (f) classification according to the national classifier; (g) dimension of pieces; and (h) data on compliance document.
