Ministerial Decree No. 792 validating the Regulation on keeping state register of pedigree stock.

This Ministerial Decree establishes the procedure for keeping state register of pedigree stock. Data related to pedigree stockbreeding on the number, quality and productivity of pedigree livestock, distributed by species and breeds, shall be inserted in the state register. Natural persons and legal entities in case of purchase of pedigree stock at the expense of budgetary funds shall submit a report to the local government for inclusion of the available pedigree stock in the state register. Inclusion of pedigree stock in the state register shall be performed on the basis of a breeding card or selection card. Keeping of the state register of pedigree stock shall be performed for the following purposes: (a) registration of breeding animals in the Republic of Kazakhstan; and (b) creation of a database for planning of breeding and selection activities with animal breeds. Pedigree stock shall be recorded as of 1 January of the year, following reporting year, based on the pedigree stock accounting statements in accordance with the Annexes 1-12.
