Abstract
This Order establishes the procedure for performance of diagnostic research composed of the following steps: (a) reception and verification of accompanying documents, biological and pathological material; (b) performance of research; (c) issuance of the results. Reception of biological and pathological material for diagnostic examination shall be carried out by employees of the veterinary laboratory. Biological and pathological materials received, prior to transfer thereof for diagnostic tests, including control samples of materials, shall be stored in specially equipped places (cold rooms). Biological and pathological materials for diagnostic tests, distributed to laboratory departments, to other veterinary laboratories in order to avoid contamination, must be transferred (transported) in compliance with veterinary (veterinary and sanitary) requirements. Based on the results of diagnostic tests, an expert report (test report) shall be issued. Residues of biological and pathological materials after diagnostic examinations, control samples of materials after the expiry of the allowable storage period shall be disposed of and destroyed. Annex 1 contains report form for non-compliance of biological and pathological material. Annex 2 contains the form of transfer and acceptance of biological and pathological material.
