Order No. 160-p of the Minister of Environmental Protection validating the Regulation on supervision over officials of local self-government in the sphere of state environmental audit.

This Order establishes the modalities of supervision by the authorized state central environmental audit body and its territorial branches over the activity of the officials of local self-government in the sphere of state environmental audit. The Ministry of Environmental Protection and its territorial bodies shall be the authorized state institution carrying out coordination of all environmental audit and ecological expertise on the national territory. The purpose of supervision and inspection shall be to verify compliance of the officials of the local self-government carrying out state environmental audit with ecological legislation, ecological norms and environmental standards, and the provisions of this Order. All the ecological expertise activity and state environmental audit carried out by the local self-government officials in the period since the previous inspection shall be subject to supervision and inspection.
