Order No. 163 of the Minister of Agriculture validating the Regulation on the issuance of authorization for the use of new fishing methods and fishing gear (for experimental fisheries) that are not included in the list of authorized fishing gear and fishing methods for commercial and non-commercial fisheries.

This Order establishes the modalities of issuance of authorization for the use of new fishing methods and fishing gear (for experimental fisheries) that are not included in the list of authorized fishing gear and fishing methods for commercial and non-commercial fisheries. The issuing authority shall be Fisheries Committee subordinated to the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The applicant shall submit the following documentation: (a) personal data (requisites for legal persons); (b) denomination and type of new fishing gear and fishing method; (c) characteristics of new fishing gear and fishing method; (d) list and amount of fishes and other aquatic animals projected for catch; (e) fishing period; and (f) projected wishing basin for experimental fisheries.
