Order No. 170 of the Minister of Ecology, Geology and Natural Resources validating the Regulation for conducting public control in the field of responsible treatment of animals, as well as the issuance of certificates of public inspectors to natural persons in the field of responsible treatment of animals.

This Regulation establishes the procedure for conducting public control in the field of responsible treatment of animals, as well as the issuance of certificates of public inspectors to natural persons in the field of responsible treatment of animals. Public control in the field of responsible treatment of animals is carried out by public inspectors and non-profit organizations, the charter of which provides for the implementation of activities to conduct public control in the field of treatment of animals. Public inspectors and non-profit organizations must be registered in the database. The object of public control in the field of responsible handling of animals is activity of individuals and legal entities for keeping animals. Public control shall be performed in the following objects of public control: (a) rehabilitation center for animals; (b) capture service; (c) contact zoo; (d) animal shelters; (e) zoological nurseries; (f) zoological hotels; (g) points of temporary keeping of animals; (h) mobile menageries; (i) circuses; and (j) zoos.
