Order No. 182 of the Minister of Agriculture validating the Regulation for reporting by breeding centers, distribution centers for the sale of semen and embryos of breeding animals and national chambers.

This Regulation establishes the procedure for reporting by breeding centers, distribution centers for the sale of semen and embryos of breeding animals and national chambers. Distribution center for the sale of semen and embryos of breeding animals shall be intended a legal entity that has notified the authorized body in the field of livestock breeding about the start (termination) of activities for the acquisition, storage and sale of semen of breeding animals - producers, embryos. Breeding center shall be intended a legal entity that notified the authorized body about the beginning (termination) of activities for the maintenance of breeding animals, engaged in the receipt, accumulation, acquisition, storage and sale of the semen of breeding animals and embryos. Breeding animal shall be intended a male breeding animal, used for the reproduction of farm animals. National Chamber shall be intended a non-profit, self-financing organization created and operating to represent and protect the interests of natural persons and legal entities engaged in breeding and (or) reproduction of breeding stock animals. Reporting is carried out for the purpose of recording: (a) breeding animals in the Republic of Kazakhstan; (b) breeding animals kept in breeding centers; and (c) semen obtained from breeding animals throughout the Republic of Kazakhstan, assessed by the quality of the offspring and (or) genomic assessment.
