Order No. 381 of the Minister of Energy validating the Regulation for continuous monitoring of the level of radioactive contamination of atmospheric air, ground and surface water, soil and plants, as well as determining the parameters of radionuclide migration in the Semipalatinsk nuclear safety zone.

This Regulation determines the procedure for conducting continuous monitoring of the level of radioactive contamination of the atmospheric air, ground and surface water, soil and plants, as well as determining the parameters of radionuclide migration in the Semipalatinsk nuclear security zone. The selection of monitoring points is based on control of radioactive contamination sources of the environment located at test sites, migration of radionuclides outside the Semipalatinsk nuclear security zone. The results of annual work on monitoring radioactive pollution levels of atmospheric air, ground and surface waters, soil and plants, as well as determining the parameters of radionuclide migration in the Semipalatinsk nuclear security zone are presented in the form of a final annual report.
