Order No. 65 of the Minister of Industry and Infrastructural Development validating the Regulation on “Committee on Geology and Subsoil Management”.

This Order establishes that Committee on Geology and Subsoil Management shall perform regulatory, implementation and monitoring functions, and also participation in strategic functions of the Ministry of Industry and Infrastructural Development related to exploration, reproduction of mineral resources and subsoil management. The Committee shall perform the following functions: (a) validating of legislative acts pertaining to its sphere of competence; (b) international cooperation; (c) elaboration of technical regulations pertaining to its sphere of competence; (d) issuance of authorization for exploration and mining activity; (e) registration, storage, updating and issuance of geological information; (f) planning of mining operations; (g) geological registration and accounting; (h) performance of state monitoring of subsoil; and (i) projecting of exploration and registration of groundwater resources.
