Order No. 7-4/498 of the Minister of Agriculture validating Veterinary (sanitary and veterinary) requirements for stockbreeding and stock trading facilities.

This Order validates Veterinary (sanitary and veterinary) requirements for stockbreeding and stock trading facilities performing breeding and trading livestock at specialized farms (complexes, poultry farms), fattening grounds and internal trade thereof at trading facilities. Territory of production facility shall consist of: (a) main production area (A zone) for keeping main herd of livestock and production; (b) veterinary and sanitary unit with sanitary pass for operating personnel (B zone); (c) administrative and economic unit (C zone); (d) feedstuffs storage point (D zone); and (e) separate area for storage of manure (E zone). The animal husbandry facilities include the following objects: (a) buildings for animal housing (young animals and adults); (b) enclosures for the organization of walks of animals with sheds and feeders, drinking water, races, gangways and scales; and (c) site for storage of manure and slurry, fenced and drained around the perimeter, with one entrance and one exit. In livestock keeping facilities The use of feeders shall not be permitted the use of feeders and drinkers and other tools made of wood. Facilities and open enclosures for animals must be cleared of manure. Disinfection at production facilities is an integral part of the overall production process and is carried out with the consideration of the peculiarities reproduction, growing and fattening technologies. In case of infectious diseases, disinfection is carried out at production facility.
