Order No. 8 of the Ministry of Agriculture “On approval of the list of derivatives of fish resources and other aquatic animals”.

This Order validates the official list of derivatives of fish resources and other aquatic animals. It is intended to establish a standardized classification of derivatives obtained from fish and other aquatic fauna.
The order instructs the Fisheries Committee of the Ministry of Agriculture to ensure the official dissemination of the act, including submission of an electronic copy to the national Institute of Legislation and Legal Information for inclusion in the national database of legal acts and publication on the Ministry’s official website. Responsibility for oversight of implementation is assigned to the supervising Vice Minister of Agriculture.
The annex contains the approved list of derivatives of fish resources and other aquatic animals. These include caviar, blood, fish milt (gonads), cysts (eggs) of aquatic animals, scales, internal organs, fat, bones, skin, cartilage, and fins of fish and other aquatic animals. The document therefore provides a definitive enumeration of biological materials and by-products classified as derivatives for regulatory and fisheries-management purposes.
