Abstract
This Order establishes the procedure for the performance of sanitary and epidemiological monitoring by state organizations of state body in the field of sanitary and epidemiological welfare of the population. Sanitary and epidemiological monitoring is a state system of observation of the state of public health and the environment, through the collection, processing, systematization, analysis, evaluation of information and data, and prediction, as well as determining causal relationships between the state of public health and the state of human environment. The purpose of sanitary and epidemiological monitoring shall be to obtain reliable information about influence of environmental factors (chemical, physical, biological, social) on human health, estimate of effectiveness of measures to prevent outbreaks of infectious diseases, professional diseases and other socially significant diseases, and the possibility of forecasting their occurrence. Management and coordination of organizational and methodological, normative and legal, program-technical support of sanitary and epidemiological welfare of the population shall be performed by state body in the field of sanitary and epidemiological welfare of the population. Data of sanitary and epidemiological monitoring shall be legalized in the form of reports.
