Abstract
This Agreement regulates the allocation and use of natural resources in the villages concerned. To this end it provides for the establishment of the following forest areas: (a) Prohibited Forest Areas, in which the cutting of trees, the harvesting of forest products or hunting of animals is strictly forbidden; (b) Reserved Forest Areas, in which the exploitation of forests and forest products must be performed according to a plan in order to ensure their proper use and conservation; (c) Allowed Forests Using Areas, which may be exploited by the population of the villages. Said areas are divided into two categories: (a) Forests to be used for daily existence (agricultural production, planting and livestock), and (b) Forests to be used for production and shifting cultivation. Furthermore, the Agreement establishes measures against freshwater and potable water pollution and makes a list of prohibited wildlife.
