Decision No. 0452/MOIC.DIMEX on the Procedures for Rice Import and Export in the Lao PDR.

This Decision, consisting of three sections, sets out procedures for rice import and export (rice in the husk, husked brown rice, semi-milled or wholly milled rice, whether or not polished or glazed as defined in the Lao PDR’s Customs Nomenclature of 1006). This Decision has no purpose to restrict the quantity or value of importation, but only for statistical purpose through the automatic import or export licensing regime. This Decision applies for the import and export of rice in the Lao PDR. The Decision is divided as follows: General Provisions (I); Rice Import and Export Licensing Procedures (II); Final Provisions (III).
