Decree of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry no. 567 of 2021 on Forest Protection Fund.

This Ministerial Decree, in compliance with provisions of National Legislation, provides for the principles and regulations for managing and using the forest protection fund, and defines the following relevant terms: forest tax; afforestation and obligation to replant trees; logging activity; compliance of the management and use of the forest protection fund with defined principles. The Decree concerns: sources of income of the forest protection fund; purpose for using the fund, including: research activities to improve Policies, strategies and legislation on forest management; development of protection forest measures, and rehabilitation of national parks. Further matters covered by the Decree include: structure and administration of the fund; rights and obligations of the officials.
