Decree no. 0250 of 2017 on the definition and management of agricultural and forest land in Vientiane.

This Decree, according to the Law on Agriculture, no. 01/98, the Law on Land, no. 04/SAP of 2003, the Forestry Law no. 06/NA of 2007, provides for defining principles and measures for administrative management and use of agricultural and forest land, in order to protect, manage, develop and transform land types in the area of Vientiane. The Decree concerns: the drafting of a Policy on the management of agricultural land and forest land, in order to respond to food and commodity production issues, and to protect forest resources; land demarcation; land clearing and subdivision; powers and duties of the Vientiane Agricultural and Forestry Inspection Agency; issuance of permits related to land management.
