Decree No. 67/PM on logging ban.

The Decree provides for the abolition of all the logging activities that led to the impoverishment of the forestry resources. An inventory of all forestry resources shall be carried out, forest management measures shall be applied to forests in order to grant protection status and enact afforestation and reforestation processes. Under the provisions of this Decree, education, training and awareness programs shall be instituted to involve also the community in the protection, rehabilitation and management of forests.
