Land Business Regulation, no. 4392/Khs.

This Regulation, implementing provisions of the Land Law in its last amended version, concerns measures for the management and monitoring of business operations related to land, including land use rights, land purchase and tenure, in order to improve the development of the land, ensure that the business activities are carried out in compliance with the Lao Legislation and Regulations, prevent money laundering and increase the socio-economic development of the country. Matters covered by this Regulation include: permission to conduct business on the land; permit conditions; application to obtain permission and related requirements; types of business related to land, including land valuation; registration of activities; land survey service; land use rights; criminal measures in case of violations of provisions concerning issuance of land business permits; verification of funds used to start land business; collection of information; measures against money-laundering and bribery; appointment of officials for inspecting land business activities.
