This Notification, establishes the procedures to issue import and export license for Timber and timber products. Pursuant to the following: Prime Minister’s Order No. 17/PM of 22 September 2008 on the governance, protection of forests and timber business; Instruction Order No. 0395/MOIC of 25 February 2011 on elimination of obstacles for the circulation of goods; and Notification No. 0826/MOIC.DIMEX of 3 May 2011 on Import and Export Licensing in Lao PDR. The Minister of Industry and Commerce issues the following notification: Issuance of import and export license of timber and timber products; Responsibility of the Department of Industry and Commerce at Provincial, Capital; Duration of the consideration; Validation and renew of the license; Inspection of the movement and exportation.
