Notification No. 0612/DOA on Sanitary and Phytosanitary Measures (SPS) for EU countries.

This Notification, pursuant to the following legislation: Plant Protection Law No 06/NA of 9/12/2008; Decree of Prime Minister No 229/PM of 31/05/2012 on the Implementation of Plant Protection Law; EUROPEAN COUNCIL Directive 2000/29/EC of 8/05/2000, establishes the Phytosanitary Import Requirement of European Union Countries for Some Important Plant Commodities Imported from the Lao People’s Democratic Republic. Plants which are intended to be exported to EU countries shall be inspected and certified based on the guidance of the Department of Agriculture No. 1077/MAF of 30/09/2010 and shall comply with the phytosanitary requirement of specific plant commodities specified in the text.
