Cooperation Agreement between Lebanon and Italy on the new technologies (Information technology and communications) for Integrated and sustainable management of natural resources in Lebanon ratified by Decree No. 1976 of 16 May 2009.

This Agreement is composed of 12 articles and 1 Annex. Article 1 gives terms and definitions. Article 2 defines aims of the Agreement in particular: integrated and sustainable management of natural resources in Lebanon; and, contribution for understanding and management of determinant and crucial human and climatic factors and forces with increasing effect on Lebanon in the coming years. Article 3 to 6 deal with the following matters: contribution and utilization of accounts; implementation of the Agreement; expenditures, accounts, reporting and notification; control and monitoring of all activities related to the Project by the Government of Italy. Articles 7 to 11 provide for the following matters: dispute settlement; suspension or revocation of the Agreement; amendments; attachments; and, communications. Annex I contains detailed illustration of the Project.
