Decision No.1034 of 2011 on the regulation of packaging and presentation of milk and its derivatives as amended by Resolution No.539 of 2012.

This Resolution consisting of 14 articles aims at specifying the conditions for packaging and exposing for sale of milk and other dairy products, including the terms of the labels. It consists of III Parts. Part I deals with packaging and provides for packing milk and its products in packages made of materials that are allowed to be used for contact with food, free from defects and suitable for keeping the product. Part II deals with exposition for selling and labeling and establishes that the product must not be displayed or described by graphic information or in any other manner that misleads the buyer or the consumer. Articles 6-10 give details for labeling information. Part III concerns procedures for registration of product card.
