Decree N.1062/1 of 2012 on conditions to import potato seeds for the 2012-2013 season.

This Decree consisting of 15 articles and 3 Annexes aims at setting out the conditions to import potato seeds for the 2012-2013 season. It establishes: the countries from which the import is permitted; the import period; size of potato seeds. The Decree includes the specifications relating to: soil in each bag; state of the tubers; sprouts on the tubers; permitted agricultural treatments on the tubers; characteristics of the bags and labelling rules; class of selection allowed for the import. It specifies the certificates needed to accompany every potato seeds shipment; permitted border points of entry; conditions requested for reefer containers and vessels; and inspection operations. The Annexes deal with: Potato Seeds Varieties Allowed to be Imported for the Season 2012 - 2013 (1); Quarantine pest List (2); Regulated Non-quarantine pests List (3).
