Decree No. 1 of 2018 on the registration of the importer's name and address on the packaging of imported food commodities.

This Resolution consisting of 2 articles aims at protecting public health and consumer safety together with avoiding the entry to the Lebanese markets of goods that do not meet technical and health specifications. It establishes that the name and address of the importer shall be recorded on the imported packaging. The labels shall be in one of the following languages: Arabic, French or English.
