Decree No. 1039 adopting the Standardizations No. 161/1999 the potable water and No. 162/1999 concerning the bottled potable water as the Lebanese Standardizations.

This Decree is composed of 3 articles and 13 Annexes. The standardization No. 161/1999 for the potable water and No. 162/1999 for the bottled potable water are to be adopted as the Lebanese standardization and Metrology (art. 1). The following laboratories are accredited and qualified for the control, analysis and testing the water: Industrial Research Institute, Department of the Public Health Laboratories and the Department of the Agricultural Scientific Research (art. 2).
