Decree No. 17182 of 2006 establishing the Codex Alimentarius National Committee.

The aim of this Decree is to define and approve the international requirements for food. The present Decree is composed of 6 articles. Article 1 provides for the establishment of the Codex Alimentarius National Committee. Articles 2 and 3 deal with the composition of the Committee. Article 4 specifies the competencies and duties of the Committee. The Committee shall issue the necessary regulations within 6 months from the date of its establishment (art. 5).
