Decree No. 2878 concerning the identification and classification of a site in the town of Ehmaj in Jbeil district as a natural site as amended by Decree No.657 of 2017.

This Decree consisting of 6 articles aims to place under the protection of the Ministry of Environment the area indicated. In the areas shall be prohibited the establishment and/or investment and/or operation of any kinds of institutions, while the quarries and crushers are subject to the conditions stipulated in the legal texts related to the organization of quarries and crushers. The Ministry of Environment shall determine the environmental conditions for licensing any construction. Construction and/or works at the site can be subject to Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) or Initial Environmental Examination (IEE) by the Ministry of Environment.
