Decree No. 4748 concluding a Memorandum of Understanding between the Lebanese Ministry of Agriculture and the Afro-Asian Rural Development Organization (AARDO).

The two parties agreed to develop a work program for the activities of the Organization in Lebanon for the 2010-2012 period. Lebanese specialists will participate in various activities held by the Organization within the framework of Human Resources Development. The Organization will finance two projects for the agricultural and rural development presented by the Lebanese Ministry. The two parties agreed to organize a workshop in Lebanon regarding the water harvesting and its impact on improving the standard of living in rural areas.
