Decree No. 8018 of 2002 defining licence rules, measures and conditions for the creation and exploitation of industrial establishment.

This Decree consists of 5 Parts divided into 42 articles: General provisions (I); Rules, measures and conditions for granting licences (II); Provisions for the devolution of licence rights, revocation and suspension (III); Provisions concerning the publication, announcement and revision of licences (IV); Conclusive provisions (V).
Article 1 prescribes rules, measures and conditions for licensing, exploiting, amending and renewing industrial establishments. The provisions of this Decree include all industries mentioned in Decree No. 5243 of 5/4/2001 (art. 3). Article 5 deals with the creation of agricultural industries in irrigated and agricultural lands. Applications shall be made to the Licensing and Control Department-Regional Industry Department (art. 7). The Ministry of Industry shall issue the final decision concerning the applications (art. 13). In the case of refusal of the application, the Minister shall provide the reasons (art. 14). The establishments shall not cause any damage to the landscapes (art. 21). Article 25 lists the documents that the applicant shall submit. The Licensing Committee shall inspect the establishments to ascertain the compatibility with the licensing terms (art. 26). Articles 30 and 31 deal with the amendment of the licences. Article 32 defines requirements and conditions for the transfer of property of the establishments.
